AUTO BIOGRAPHY AND REFFLECTION ABOUT TYPHOON ULYSSES

REFLECTION ABOUT TYPHOON ULYSEES

On November 11, 2020, typhoon Ulysses hit our country, the Philippines.  Many provinces were affected by the severe flooding especially Marikina, Rizal province and Cagayan province. Can this misery be avoided?  What and property are commonly associated with disasters?  It is very difficult to see your fellow Filipinos suffering because of what is happening around us. With the release of typhoon ulysses in the Philippines many Filipinos have a hard time recovering but after the day I know they will live again, it is hard to think of other people who are resilient and as positive in dispositions as the Filipino nation.  We are a country that eats disasters for breakfast we are used to them. They come, they leave a path of death and destruction, but we get up the next day ready to face the next. As our country continues to face challenges, we join in the precaution, and be strong together in prayer.

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
